Join Us for the Eastport Back-to-School Ice Cream Social

Back-to-school week moves fast. On Sunday, August 30, we’re slowing things down for two hours and meeting by the water in Eastport.

The Eastport Back-to-School Ice Cream Social runs from 12 to 2 p.m. at Horn Point Harbor Marina. The Always Ice Cream Company truck will be serving free scoops, Oscar’s Coffee will be open and we’ll be collecting school supplies for Eastport Elementary.

A Sunday afternoon by the water

This is meant to be easy. Stop by Horn Point Harbor Marina, get a scoop, grab a coffee and catch up with people around Eastport. The marina sits at the mouth of Back Creek, so the setting feels like a little break at the end of the first week back.

Jane Holtz is hosting the event through The Jen Holden Group of Compass. Marie Ritzenberg, VP of Mortgage Lending at OriginPoint, is co-hosting. Marie’s NMLS number is 215246.

Proud to partner with two local businesses

We’re proud to partner with Always Ice Cream Company and Oscar’s Coffee, two locally owned businesses that give so much to the community around them. We’ve seen both make room for neighborhood events and local causes, and we’re grateful they are part of this one.

Bring school supplies for Eastport Elementary

We’re adding a school-supply collection to help replenish classrooms at Eastport Elementary as the year gets underway. If you would like to contribute, bring school supplies with you and drop them off at the event.

Any additional collection guidance will be shared through The Jen Holden Group’s social channels before August 30.
