In this festive and beautiful season of giving and graciousness, The Jen Holden Group of Compass is honored to announce our support for the Belle Grove Elementary School's 2nd Annual Holiday Toy Shop. This initiative is not just about gifts; it's a celebration of community, kindness, and the spirit of the holiday season. What is the Belle Grove Elementary Holiday Toy Shop? Nestled in the heart of northern Anne Arundel County, Belle Grove Elementary serves a vibrant tapestry of families, many of whom navigate the holiday season within tight financial constraints. The Holiday Toy Shop is an innovative program that transforms the simple act of gift-giving into an empowering experience for families. By offering gifts at a nominal cost, it upholds the dignity of parents and guardians, allowing them to personally select and purchase presents for their children. 100% of the proceeds from the Holiday Shop are funneled back into the school's positive behavior program. It's a special place where the joys of the holiday season come alive, not through the gifts themselves but through the love and thoughtfulness that goes into selecting the perfect present. Why is it special? This initiative goes beyond generosity—it’s a beacon of hope and a testament to the resilience and unity of our community. By participating in the Holiday Toy Shop, families are given the agency to make the holiday their own, choosing from a selection of toys in a dignified and joyful shopping experience. It’s special because it intertwines the magic of the holidays with the empowerment of choice and the warmth of community support. Every toy and every gesture of kindness is an affirmation that together, we can make the season bright for everyone. How Can You Participate? We hope you will consider joining us this season in making a difference: Gift a Toy: Add a little extra to your holiday shopping cart this year. Whether it's games, dolls, books, or puzzles, your gift can be the highlight of a child's holiday season. Belle Grove serves Pre-K through 5th grade, so gifts from preschoolers to tweens are welcomed and appreciated. All toys need to be delivered by Dec. 7th. Arrange a Pick-Up: After you shop, contact us to arrange a pickup right from your front door anytime before Dec 7th! Our JHG elves will drive the sleigh over to collect your you and ensure all gifts reach the Holiday Shop in time. No time to shop? No problem: Our JHG elves are more than happy to sprinkle a little holiday magic on your behalf. If it's easier to provide a monetary donation, we'll joyfully shop for you, ensuring every dollar is used to select the perfect gifts to light up little faces with big smiles. Spread the Word: Share the joy of giving with your friends, family, and colleagues. A social media share, a chat over coffee, or a mention in your community groups can go a long way. A Call to Action This holiday, let's join hands and hearts to kindle the flame of community spirit. Whether you are able to donate a little or a lot, your contribution matters.
